Term 1 2026 – Dates & Important Information

Starts: Monday 2nd February
Ends: Thursday 2nd April

Special Events & Activities:

  • Bring a Friend Week: Monday 16th February - Saturday 21st February (selected classes only)

  • Fun Day: Sunday 1st March. 10:00am - 11:15am. (Limited spots available - book in via this link)

Schedule Changes:

  • NO CLASSES: Monday 9th March (Labour Day Public Holiday)

Gradings:

  • Practice Grading Week: Tuesday 10th March - Saturday 14th March.

    • Instructors will check student progress and assess readiness for belt promotion.

    • Monday students will be assessed in their second class during the week, or on Monday 16th March. There will be no formal practice grading for Monday students.

  • Grading Week: Friday 27th March - Thursday 2nd April

    • Formal assessments for belt promotions. Each student will receive a designated grading time (forms will be emailed and handed out later in the term).

    • Black Belts: DAN / PUM promotions and interim assessments will no longer be held during class times. Attendance during grading week is required for full grading or compulsory interim assessments.
